With over 32 years of combined experience in the service industry, Mo and Reggie continue to put their customers first while staying true to that neighborhood feel, no matter the size of the crowd.
Out of working together at neighborhood bars like Queen Makeda and 1920DC the two decided to form RegMo Promo after having a particularly great BBQ and realizing that other people would love to be invited to a party like that. Inspired by the idea of the bar crawl, Reggie and Mo decided to take the party on the road by infusing hip hop into the mix. When the crowd at their signature event, “The Old School HipHop Bar Crawl” grew from 60 to 700 people, Reggie and Mo realized the potential to create additional events in Washington, DC and in other cities, too, while still capturing that neighborhood vibe.
By providing the setting and service, Reggie and Mo foster that close-knit feeling where customers connect and discover their new favorite bars and restaurants.
“The experience is the most important thing,” says Mo. They want to create more spaces for good people to hear good music and chill. “We want everyone to feel comfortable, it doesn’t matter who you are—you can come to one of our events and we will make sure you have a good time.”
